Avengers-inspired fashion assembled at Endgame world premiere
Avengers: Endgame is finally here and marks the end of an era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This week stars from the franchise gathered for the Los Angeles world premiere and among the many impressive outfits, a few actors embraced geek fashion on the red carpet!
The most stunning display of Marvel-inspired fashion was worn by Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson. The two each wore beautiful jewelry inspired by the infinity gauntlet.
Johansson’s jewelry was created by Sonia Boyajian, who said on Instagram that the item was “the craziest commission” she’d received but she was “up for the challenge.” The above post offers an interesting behind-the-scenes look at the piece’s creation, showing the wax carvings and initial sketches Boyajian produced.
Larson’s design on the other hand was made by Irene Neuwirth.
Neuwirth shared some of her first sketches for the piece in an Instagram story that you can see at ET.
Larson and Johansson weren’t the only ones to wear Marvel fashion either. Vin Diesel took his character to heart and sported a Groot-inspired jacket. According to Entertainment Weekly, Diesel said the jacket “kind of speaks to the Groot-esque qualities of all of us.” So…we are Groot?
