RockLove enters a whole new world with Aladdin jewelry collection

RockLove Jewelry is no stranger to Disney. From The Nightmare Before Christmas to The Little Mermaid to Alice in Wonderland, designer Allison Cimino translates these magical worlds into stunning jewelry that is recognizable to fellow fans but often subtle enough to wear anywhere. With each release, Cimino takes fandom jewelry to the next level and her latest line inspired by the upcoming live-action Aladdin film is no different.

RockLove’s Aladdin collection features five pieces: two sets of earrings, two necklaces, and a ring. All are gold-plated sculpted sterling silver with just the right hints of color.

“I have been working on the Disney x RockLove Aladdin collection since August 2018 and it’s been such a compelling journey to bring the mischief and magic of the animated classic to this jewelry collection,” Cimino told GeekFold in an email. “I wanted to give each piece an interactive surprise—a moment of fantastical fun that was just as exciting to create as it is to wear!”

The interactive surprise differs for each piece. The magic lamp hinges open on the necklace and earrings, Jafar’s staff ring is adjustable, the scarab necklace splits into two halves, and Abu dangles by his tail on the earrings. The moving parts make the items particularly unique and are something Cimino has included in previous lines, including for the video game Mass Effect.
